Aglaonema Maria
The Aglaonema Maria, also called Aglaonema Emerald Beauty, brings jungle vibes to your space with glossy leaves of various shades of dark to silvery green. As a darker leaved variety of Aglaonema, Maria is especially tolerant of lower light but will grow slower in those environments. Aglaonema, also called Chinese Evergreens, are non-fussy plants and can survive in lower light and humidity if needed. How to keep it Leafy:
Adjust your watering schedule according to how much light your Aglaonema receives. For example, an Aglaonema placed near a large, bright window may prefer weekly watering, whereas an Aglaonema in a cool, darker corner may only need water once every two weeks.
Water Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing the top 2-3 inches of soil to dry out between waterings |
Sunlight Low to bright indirect. Direct, bright sunlight should be avoided. |
Humidity Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 30-60% humidity. |
